In the county, more than pets are startled by fireworks

Two Linn County Supervisors recently voted to allow fireworks for two periods of time during the year. Do they have any idea how this affects those of us in the county with horses?
Exploding fireworks scare our horses, causing them to run wildly. I just hope when one of the horses breaks through a fence onto the highway and is hit by a car, killing one person and injuring three others, the supervisors will be willing to attend the funeral.
I also hope they will help me pay off the lawsuit brought against me for my horse causing the accident, and help me find housing after I am bankrupted due to being sued. Thanks to Ben Rogers for voting for the resolution.
