Best Bets: Lisbon Sauerkraut Days

The savory scent of bratwurst and sauerkraut will be driving traffic down the Lincoln Highway in Lisbon this weekend. City streets also will be packed with rides, games, music, bingo and family entertainment. Festivities get underway tonight (8/15) in City Park, with a free ice cream social at 6:30 p.m., followed by fireworks, then continue Friday night with food, games, carnival rides, displays and a street dance. Saturday highlights include a parade at 10:30 a.m., car show, noon cabbage weigh-off, 2 p.m. bathtub races, and more food, games, rides and music.
