Video Sessions -- Vote for Morris
Marc Morehouse
Jan. 1, 2014 7:11 pm
We tackled some meaty topics for a postgame interview with linebacker James Morris.
The extemporaneous nature of his answers all season always kind of shocked me. Think about it, he was able to grab a ton of references, make a quick joke, make a pointed point all within a matter of seconds. I call this "internet brain." Seriously, it's like Google under that helmet.
It's been fun. He has my vote for whatever office he'll seek in the future (he's a poli-sci honor student, but has said he has no idea about a career in politics).
C.J. Beathard and Jake Rudock field questions about whether or not there will be a QB competition this spring.
Beathard said he believes that is the case. Rudock said he's ready for anything.
And if you don't appreciate the grace and humor that SS John Lowdermilk shows in the wake of his nearly very, very extremely painful fumble/mistake, find another blog to read.
LSU Tigers running back Jeremy Hill (33) is tackled by Iowa Hawkeyes linebacker James Morris (44) as Hill falls into the endzone for a touchdown during the first half of the Outback Bowl at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida on Wednesday, January 1, 2014. (Cliff Jette/The Gazette-KCRG TV9)
