Many people gathered at the Rockwell Collins Sports Complex in northeast Cedar Rapids on Saturday for the 20th annual Tanager Place Summer Festival. Tanager Place is a nonprofit organization for children and families with psychological and social needs.
The summer festival is a fundraising event, free to the public each year, to help promote Tanager Place and show off the mission of strengthening families. In doing so, there are nearly 75 free activities for families and children to engage in with one another. Tanager Place has several sponsors that help make the festival happen.
