Himmelsbach, Margaret Frese
Margaret Frese Himmelsbach, 102, died Monday, June 10, 2013, at Colonial Manor, Amana. Services: 10 a.m. Friday, June 14, at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Norway, with the Rev. Craig Steimel officiating. Private burial: St. Michael's Cemetery. Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Parish Center, with rosary at 7 p.m.
Margaret was born Feb. 26, 1911, to Henry and Elizabeth (Schulte) Frese. On Oct. 4, 1932, she married Leonard Himmelsbach at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Norway.
Survivors include sons, Bernard (Janet) and Richard (Jane); daughter, Mary (Bud) Hall; daughter-in-law, Barb Himmelsbach; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; four stepgreat-grandchildren; and a stepgreat-great-grandson.
Margaret was preceded in death by her husband; parents; infant daughter, Margaret Louise; a son, David; a stepgreat-grandson; two sisters, Lucille Rottger and Armella Hinkel; and four brothers, Charles, George, Arthur and Delbert Frese.
Brosh Funeral Service of Norway is serving the family.
