Urge lawmakers to say no to school vouchers

Facts: Public schools in Iowa have the highest graduation rate in the country; Iowa public schools are among the top three in ACT scores; 92 percent of Iowa students attend public schools; Iowa students outperform the six states with voucher programs; public schools are accountable for all aspects of students learning and well-being while private/home/online schools have zero accountability; and the GOP voucher plan would shift $200 million away from public education.
The majority of Iowans support public schools. The Republican legislators in Des Moines and their extreme agenda do not represent the priorities of Iowans. They only way to stop their harmful agenda is to use the power of the ballot box. Please educate yourself about the issues and vote in November.
