Tommy Lee Fox, 75, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Monday, April 30, 2018, at
the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha. A visitation will
be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, May 4, at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home. A rosary will be at 4 p.m. to start the visitation. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 5, at St. Jude Catholic Church with one hour of visitation prior to service at the church. Burial to follow service in Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Tommy Lee Fox was born Aug. 8, 1942, in Centerville, Iowa, the son of Charles Wesley and Anna (Kauzlarich) Fox. He married Joanie Steepleton on June 15, 1965. He worked in the printing industry for 40 years. Tommy had been a member of St. Jude Catholic Church since 1966. He loved bowling, fishing, golfing and, most of all, he loved spending time with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Charles Jr. and Jack Fox; and brother-in-law, John Riedel.
Left to cherish Tommy's memories are his wife, Joan Fox of Cedar Rapids; a son, Thomas (Robynette Brecke) Fox; three wonderful and loving grandchildren, Bethannie, Andrea and Tommy; four siblings, Leonard (Bernie) Fox of Cedar Rapids, Betty Riedel of Ottumwa, Judy (Pete) Young of Maryville, Tenn., and Jane (Les) Hanneman of Edmond, Okla.; sister-in-law, Josephine Fox of Centerville; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Tommy's name.
