Keno Davis tells paper he's staying in Providence
Keno Davis told the Providence Journal that the University of Iowa is a "special place" but he has no plans to leave Providence for Iowa City.
“It would be tough for me to leave because of all that we've done to start turning the corner here at Providence,” Davis told the paper. “I'm not interested in that (Iowa) job and I've let everybody know it.”
“I have not been to the state of Iowa. I've been recruiting like crazy since the season ended. There isn't anything going on.”
Keno Davis is the son of Iowa's all-time wins leader, Tom Davis.
