Iowa opens Big Ten play with 10-6 win at No. 18 Wisconsin

In what was already billed as one of the biggest games that could shape the Big Ten West race this season, Iowa took down No. 18 Wisconsin 10-6 on the road Saturday.
The Hawkeyes are now 5-0, their first such start since 2009, and 1-0 in the conference, while Wisconsin falls to 3-2 and 0-1.
The Badgers out-gained the Hawkeyes 320-224, but turned it over four times to Iowa's two.
The lone touchdown of the game came with 2:59 remaining in the first half when C.J. Beathard hit tight end George Kittle for a 1-yard score that proved to be the winning play.
Beathard finished 9-for-21 for 77 yards, a TD and a pick. Jordan Canzeri carried 26 times for 125 yards.

Marshall Koehn added a 33-yard field goal to make it 10-3 with 1:03 left in the half.
Wisconsin's Rafael Gaglianone hit two 46-yard field goals, including the first score of the game with 9:58 left in the first.
Joel Stave was 21-for-38 for 234 yards and two picks through the air for Wisconsin.
The Badgers gained just 86 yards rushing on 34 attempts.
