Police arrest woman for stabbing her brother
Police arrested a woman early Friday after she allegedly stabbed her brother with a knife during an argument.
Maria Garcia, 23, of 5055 Johnson Ave. SW, No. 1, was arrested for assault while displaying a dangerous weapon (domestic abuse).
Police were called to Garcia's home at 1:20 a.m. Her brother had apparently been sleeping in her bed. He moved to the living room after she came home, but the argument had begun that led to the stabbing, Sgt. Cristy Hamblin said.
