Accusations against president ridiculous

To the editor:
Accusing the president of unconstitutional executive orders regarding immigration is ridiculous.
According to the American Immigration Council, every president from Dwight D. Eisenhower to George W. Bush has either paroled, granted immigration parole, extended voluntary departure status, directed Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) not to deport legalized children, ordered deferred action, granted deferred enforced departure, suspended deportations or granted expedited naturalization to Hungarians, Cubans, Chinese, Vietnamese, Cambodians, Laotians, Lebanese, Ethiopians, Soviets, Ugandans, Nicaraguans, Iranians, Afghans, Poles, people from the Persian Gulf region, Salvadorans, Guatemalans, Hondurans, Haitians, and Liberians, to name a few.
I hope the Republican Congress can find better ways to spend their time. All presidents acted without them in these instances.
