We live in great city with great people

The citizens of Cedar Rapids should be proud.

After the recent rains and storms, police officers, first responders, energy company workers and tree trimmers worked tirelessly when dealing with the debris and emergencies during the latest battle with Mother Nature.

Many of them went on little sleep, spent time away from their families and helped people deal with the emergencies that happened.

We have many volunteers who helped people cope with the many disasters that happened.

Cedar Rapids is built on neighbor helping neighbor. This is a great city with many great people. Thank you all. Your hard work and dedication does not go unnoticed.
