Hamlett, Rodney Charles
Rodney Charles Hamlett, 43, died Friday, March 12, 2010, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City, from complications of surgery. Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 17, at St. John's Lutheran Church, Arlington. Burial: Union Cemetery, north of Aurora. Visitation: 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Fawcett Funeral Home in Lamont and after 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
He is survived by his wife, Michele of Lamont; two daughters, Hilary and Kenzie Hamlett of Cedar Rapids; one son, Gates Hamlett of La Crosse, Wis.; one stepdaughter, Alyssa Garrison of Lamont; one stepson, Blake Monnahan of Lamont; his parents, Charles and Janice Hamlett of Lamont; one brother, Randal (Suzy) Hamlett of Arlington; and five nieces and nephews, Nate, Michael, Gabe, Ella and Anna.
