Accident closes eastbound I-80 near Oxford exit
Emergency crews responded to an accident involving two vehicles on eastbound Interstate 80 near the Oxford exit.
The eastbound lanes of interstate 80 were closed over an hour, backing up traffic for miles.
At least one lane is now open, but traffic is still moving slowly.
Emergency crews respond to an accident on Interstate 80 eastbound near Oxford around 5 p.m. Tuesday. At least two cars were involved in the accident and multiple ambulances and air care were called to the scene. Injuries and number of passengers is not yet known.
