Iowa high school baseball district, substate brackets: 3A, 4A

Teams in Iowa's larger two high school baseball classes now know their road to the state tournament at Principal Park.

The IHSAA released 3A and 4A district and substate brackets Thursday.

Class 3A district semifinals are Friday, July 14 with doubleheaders at each site, then district finals follow at the same sites Monday, July 17.

All Class 4A teams begin substate play Friday, July 14, with higher-seeded teams hosting. The highest-remaining seed of the three first-round winners then advances to the substate finals, while the other two teams meet in a semifinal.

Substate finals in 3A and 4A are Wednesday, July 19. The winners advance to the state tournament.
