Buch, Donald D.
Donald D. Buch, 83, of Belle Plaine, died Monday, March 21, 2011, at Keystone Care Center in Keystone. A memorial service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday, March 25, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Keystone. Iowa Cremation is assisting the family.
Donald Dean Buch was born Nov. 17, 1927, to Ewald and Leila Henningsen Buch in Keystone, Iowa. He was united in marriage to Leola Albers on May 29, 1948, in Keystone. They enjoyed farming together for many years. After retirement, he became an antiques dealer. Don enjoyed golf, woodworking, playing cards and bowling.
He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Leola; sons, Jim (Cathy) Buch of Keystone, Richard (Donna) Buch and Tom (Barb) Buch, both of Belle Plaine; sisters, Lorraine Lorenz of Dysart, Joan Homire of Marengo, and Jane Musel of Los Angeles, Calif.; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Donald was preceded in death by parents; one son, Alan; and grandson.
