Iowa Plane Crash Kills Wisconsin Couple
Sgt. William Mau, Linn County Deputy Sheriff, is pictured at left looking at a Cessna 100 aircraft that crashed in snowy conditions early Monday evening, February 19, 1973, in a cornfield on the farm of William Goudy, 4 1/2 miles north of Mount Vernon, Iowa. The crash took the lives of aircraft occupants David and Lorrine Brown of LaCrosse, Wisconsin. The Cessna was enroute from St. Louis to LaCrosse at the time of the accident.
