Dubuque Senior 61, 3A No. 1 Cedar Rapids Xavier 57
Matthew Mims reached the 1,000-point milestone for his career Tuesday night even as Cedar Rapids Xavier lost to Dubuque Senior, 61-57.
Mims had 21 points and six assists. Jackson Joens added 17 points for the Saints (10-4).
Carter Stevens led Senior (10-4) with 21 points.
4A No. 4 Cedar Falls 63, Linn-Mar 45
Cedar Falls raced out to a 22-8 lead after one quarter in Marion.
AJ Green had 26 points, including five 3-pointers, for Cedar Falls (11-3).
Trey Hutcheson had 17 points and seven rebounds for Linn-Mar (7-6).
Waterloo West 63, Cedar Rapids Kennedy 55
The Cougars made 11 3-pointers in a loss at Kennedy.
Jack Wetzel had 20 points and Trey Sheets added 18 points, on six 3-pointers, for Kennedy (6-8).
Marion 45, Benton Community 36
Tied 18-18 at halftime, the Indians won the second half in Marion.
Chase Zielke had 17 points and Matthew Brase added 12 points for Marion (7-8).
Dubuque Hempstead 64, Cedar Rapids Prairie 61
Keegan Murray had 13 points for Prairie in a loss at Dubuque.
Kris Murray added 12 points for the Hawks (7-7).
Cedar Rapids Jefferson 72, Dubuque Wahlert 71 (OT)
Willie Guy had 25 points to lead Jefferson (7-7) to an overtime win in Dubuque.
Peter Timmerman had 18 points to lead Wahlert (6-8).
4A No. 1 Iowa City West 80, Iowa City High 47
It is a feat achieved by no other boys' basketball team in the history of the state of Iowa.
Iowa City West posted a relatively-comfortable 80-47 victory over crosstown rival Iowa City High Tuesday night at West High School. With the victory, the Trojans became the first team to win 80 home games in a row.

Cedar Rapids Washington led 56-33 at halftime and ran away with it in Waterloo.
Sammy Mia led five players in double-figure scoring with 24 points to go with seven rebounds and six assists.
Brttany Postma and Isa Truemper each had 13 points for the Warriors (10-5).
5A No. 10 Cedar Rapids Prairie 79, Dubuque Hempstead 58
The 10th-ranked Hawks sank 14 3-pointers at home.
Sidney McCrea had six 3-pointers and finished with 24 points and Mallory McDermott had four 3-pointers and finished with 28 points for Prairie (10-5).
Cedar Rapids Jefferson 61, Dubuque Wahlert 40
The J-Hawks used a 21-6 advantage in the third quarter at Jefferson High School.
Erica Oler had 20 points and 13 rebounds to pace Jefferson (6-10). Kaylee Donner added 13 points and Jenna Griffith had 10 assists.
Cedar Rapids Kennedy 65, Waterloo West 55
Hailey Dolphin scored 17 points as the Cougars won in Waterloo.
Madson Fiauf added 11 points for Kennedy (8-7).
4A No. 1 Marion 68, Benton Community 21
The top-ranked Indians led just 10-9 with one minute left in the first quarter in Van Horne, but poured it on with a 40-point second half en route to the win.
Kayba Laube had 21 points to pace Marion (16-0).
2A No. 7 Iowa City Regina 67, West Liberty 37
Regina sank 14 3-pointers — including seven from Mary Crompton and five from Kennedy Wallace — in West Liberty.
Alex Wiese had 11 points for Regina (12-4). Macy Akers led West Liberty (2-14) with 19 points.
4A No. 10 Cedar Rapids Xavier 59, Dubuque Senior 39
Libby Arnold had 12 points to lead Xavier (9-8) at Senior (6-11).
5A No. 1 Iowa City High 79, 5A No. 3 Iowa City West 70
For the Iowa City High girls' basketball team, the play is called, 'red.'
Tuesday night at Iowa City West, the call for full-court defensive pressure came from the players in the halftime locker room, and it produced another victory for the Little Hawks.
Senior Ashley Joens scored a game-high 32 points — including the first eight of an 11-0 surge to begin the second half — as Class 5A No. 1 Iowa City High ran past No. 3 West, 79-70, in a Mississippi Valley Conference game.

The North Linn Lynx were at full attention. And in the first half, at full efficiency.
The Class 2A top-ranked Lynx dissected Springville's zone before intermission, and handled the 1A No. 1 Orioles, 64-47, in a Tri-Rivers Conference girls' basketball game Tuesday.
