JERRY SNITSELAAR Marshalltown Jerry Snitselaar, 72, of Marshalltown, died May 13, 2015, in Cedar Rapids. Jerry was born Nov. 7, 1942, in Rock Rapids, Iowa, to William and Verda (Husmann) Snitselaar. He graduated from Rock Rapids High School. He was in the dry cleaning business for 56 years. Survivors include his children, Tammy (Randy) Mather of West Branch, Theresa (Gary) Gaspar of Sioux Falls, S.D., Traci (Philip) Cilliers of Cave Creek, Ariz., Jerry (Karen) Snitselaar of Chandler, Ariz., Billie Jo Snitselaar of St. Petersburg, Fla., Jared Snitselaar of Marshalltown and Justin, Jason and Jacksen Snitselaar of Marion; and 10 grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Roger (Dolly) Snitselaar of Sioux Falls, S.D., Jacque (Marvin) Koel of Osage, Minn., Paul (Pat) Snitselaar of Glendale, Ariz., and David Snitselaar of Denver, Colo.; brother-in-law, Lee Bendinger of Sioux Falls, S.D.; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, William Snitselaar Jr.; and sister, Melody Bendinger. The family would like to thank Grandview Heights, Marshalltown Hospital, Mary Greeley Hospital in Ames and St. Luke's Acute Care and Hospice in Cedar Rapids for their care and support.
