Minnie E. Baltisberger, 92, died Sunday, Sept. 25, 2016, at Clarence Nursing Home. Funeral services: 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, St. John's United Church of Christ, Clarence, with Pastor Tommi Boeder officiating. Burial: Clarence Cemetery. Visitation: from 1:30 p.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Survivors include her sons, James (Patricia) of Burlington and Ronald (Patricia) of Cambridge, Ill.; daughters, Marilyn Baird of Anamosa, Wendy Baltisberger of Watkins and Susan (Tim) Blood of The Colony, Texas; 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Ralph, Charles Jr. and one in infancy; sister, Nellie Koth; and her husband, Orlo.
Minnie was born Nov. 21, 1923, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to Charles amd Henrietta Story Eggert Sr. She married Orlo Baltisberger on June 14, 1944, in Clarence. He passed away in 1985.
