Lee Alan White, 54, of Kalona, formerly of Mechanicsville, died Friday, April 24, 2015, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City. His body was donated to medical research. Burial of cremains will be at a later date. Celebration of Life to honor Lee's love of fishing and hunting will be 1 p.m. Saturday, May 2, at the entrance to Lake Macbride Campgrounds. Bring fishing poles and enjoy fishing with Lee looking down on all of us.
Surviving are his sisters, Lisa VonSpreecken of Sigourney and Lois Keller of Fairfield; his mother, Karen K. White; and uncles and aunts, Darrell White, Doug and Deb White and Kenneth and Bobbie Adams.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bert and Anne White and Glen and Kathrine Adams.
Born May 28, 1960, in Anamosa, Iowa, Lee lived in Mechanicsville until 1974, and then moved to Kalona, where he worked for Kinneer's Home Furnishings and Hopfs Home Furnishings as delivery driver. He also worked for Direct Factory Mattresses of Cedar Rapids and Coralville.
