Ruth F. Raymond, 91, passed away Monday at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha. Ruth was born on Oct. 12, 1926, in Winona, MN, to Emil and Augusta Berzinski.
Ruth was united in marriage to Richard H. Raymond on July 12, 1945, in Winona, MN. They moved to Cedar Rapids where Ruth worked at Quaker Oats for over 25 years.
Ruth is survived by two daughters, Jeanne (Jim) Beachler and Jan Allen; six grandchildren, Michelle (Scott) Burkhart, Teresa Beachler, Troy (Sarah) Beachler, Scott (Erika) Raymond, Kelly (Glenn) Scott and Jeff Henderson; 13 great-grandchildren, Megan, Alex, Makayla, Austin, Jason, Mallory, Lindsay, Ben, Ethan, Sofia, Bristol, Eli and Ian; and brothers, Emil "Bud" (Beverly) Berzinski and Ken Berzinski.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Richard, and wife, Barb Berzinski; son, Tom Raymond; daughter-in-law, June Raymond; son-in-law Steve Allen; and sister-in-law, Barb, wife of Ken Berzinski.
The family would like to give a special thank-you to Kris Sergeant, Ruth's hospice home nurse, and everyone who took wonderful care of her at the hospice house.
