May, Jamie A.
Jamie A. May, 42, of 1920 Rockford Rd. SW, Cedar Rapids, died Sunday, Nov. 1, 2009, in Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids. Private family services will be held at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, by Paul Zimmerman.
Survivors include daughter, Elizabeth Ann May; parents, James and Sheila (Alexander) Hutton; grandparents, Betty and Jack Hutton and Sarah Marie Alexander; siblings, Carrie Callan and Casey Hutton; niece, Kelly Ann Callan; niece at heart, Karsyn Wheatley; and former husband, David May.
Jamie was preceded in death by her grandfather, Raymond Alexander.
Jamie was born Jan. 26, 1967, in Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of James and Sheila (Alexander) Hutton.
Jamie loved everyone, especially children and her puppy, Lucy. She was happy-go-lucky and always had a “Jamie” smile for everybody. She had a heart of gold and will be greatly missed.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Jamie's memory.
