Gun owner insulted by Ernt’s TV ads

I have owned and used firearms for more than 60 years, so I don't believe I would be considered an anti-gun extremist. I am, however, strongly insulted by the recent Joni Ernst ads on TV.
Is Ernst running for sheriff of Tombstone or the U.S. Senate? Does she expect to resolve differences in Congress by pitched gunbattles?
We seem to have a shooting incident almost weekly in Cedar Rapids. We need effective leadership to help contain that wild braggadocio.
