Beverly Ann Prostine, 65, of Marion, died Monday, Dec. 31, 2018, at her home. Memorial service: 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 7, 2019, at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories with visitation one hour prior to service. Inurnment at a later date.
Beverly was born Dec. 17, 1953, the daughter of Robert and Loretta (Reeve) Prostine, in Fort Monmouth, N.J. She received her BA in business and marketing from the University of Northern Iowa and went on to work at the University of Iowa as an event coordinator. Beverly later worked for U.S. Cellular as an account representative before retirement.
In her younger years, Beverly was an accomplished pianist. She was an avid reader of both secular and spiritual publications, excellent cook and baker, and had a great love of animals. Beverly had a kind heart and took great care of her parents.
Survivors include her parents, Robert and Loretta Prostine; two brothers, Don (Mary) Prostine, David (Michele) Prostine; two nephews, Ben (Dana Scheffen) Prostine and Lee Prostine; and one niece, Emma Prostine.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
