Mary Benda, 60, passed away Thursday, Sept. 10, 2015, at Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha surrounded by her family. Visitation will be Sunday, Sept. 13, from 2 to 5 p.m. at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 14, at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories, with burial at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Left to cherish Mary's memories include Mary's husband of 29 years, William Eichhorst; daughters, Jennifer (Tom) Ebner and Michelle (Isaac Villescas) Benda; stepdaughters, Angela (Cindy Clark) Eichhorst and Allyson (Don) Kearney; siblings, Janet Sage, Dean Moudry and Noreen Hageman; beloved nieces, nephews and grandchildren; as well as her two dogs, Gracie and Ellie.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Irvin and Emilie Moudry.
