Saari, Kristine

Kristine Saari, 48, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Saturday, July 13, 2013, at St. Luke's Hospital following a sudden illness. Visitation will be Monday, July 15, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Living Hope Wesleyan Church. Memorial service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 16, at the church. Inurnment will be at a later date. Entrusted with the arrangements is Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home.

She is survived by her son, Michael Saari and significant other Courtney Moore; father, David (Sue) Saari; a brother, Doug Cronbough of Texas; four sisters, Denise (Jason) Kwapil, Kelly Saari (Steve Miedke), Kathy (Chris) Caldbeck and Karena (Brian) Sauser, all of Iowa; and many loving nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Kristine was preceded in death by her mothers, Karen Saari and Linda Saari; niece, Ashley Saari; and grandparents, Maurice Mitchell, Wayne and Charlotte Saari and Don and Arlene Waddle.

Kristine Saari was born March 29, 1965, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of David and the late Linda Saari. She enjoyed Garth Brooks, cartoons, shopping and especially the time spent with family, friends and especially her son, Mike.

Kristine was a genuine and loving person. She will be missed dearly.
