Iowa City man facing eight drug charges after months-long investigation

IOWA CITY – Iowa City police arrested a man on eight drug-related charges following an investigation that began in May 2010.
Police arrested Jordan D. Arneal, 23, of 425 Sixth Ave. Apt. D in Coralville on charges of ongoing criminal conduct, a controlled substance violation, possession in a residence, an Iowa drug tax stamp violation, possession of a controlled substance, two counts of possession of prescription drugs and drug paraphernalia.
According to police documents, officers responded to Arneal's home during the investigation. Officers found 6.8 ounces of marijuana, cocaine, cash, drug paraphernalia and prescription pills.
Arneal was admitted to the Johnson County Jail Saturday night.
