Keith F. Roth, 89, of Cedar Rapids, died Sunday, Feb. 26, 2017, at his home. Services at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. There will be a visitation after 11 a.m. Wednesday at the chapel. Burial with military rites at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Cedar Memorial Park Funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include a son, John (Daun) of Lake Bluff, Ill.; and three daughters, Debra (Jeff Bobb) Tailor of Redondo Beach, Calif., Kathryn (Steve) Jump of Cedar Rapids and Cynthia (Mike) Andrews of Seneca, S.C.; and one brother, Joseph (Mary Lou) of Iowa. He is also survived by five grandchildren, Caitlin, Noelle, Bill, Roth and Zoe; and one great-granddaughter, Marie.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and 10 brothers and sisters.
Keith was born March 4, 1927, in Audubon, the son of John and Ida Winters Roth. He married Joyce A. Macke on Sept. 4, 1953, in Des Moines. Joyce passed away in 2006.
Keith was in route sales for Trausch Baking Company and retired from there in 1984, after more than 30 years of service. He was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church, V.F.W. Post No. 788, the American Legion and the Teamsters Union No. 238. He proudly served as a sergeant in the Army in the Korean War.
Keith was an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and the Green Bay Packers. He enjoyed gardening and time spent with his beloved family, especially his grandchildren and great-granddaughter. Keith's memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved him.
