Pregame: DJK's dad says his son and Stanzi are 'very relaxed, full of energy'

MIAMI -- I bumped into Anthony Koulianos, the father of Iowa wide receiver Derrell Johnson-Koulianos, outside Land Shark Stadium early Tuesday evening as DJK's dad and the rest of the player's family waited for the Iowa team buses to arrive.
DJK, said Koulianos, is "relaxed and confident, feeling good, lots of energy."
DJK's Fontainebleau Hotel roommate in Miami Beach for the whole trip has been Iowa quarterback Ricky Stanzi.
"Ricky and Derrell are very relaxed, full of energy," Koulianos said.
While the Iowa bus was on its way to the stadium, DJK texted his mother, Lauren Koulianos. DJK asked her to kiss his little brothers, ages 11 and 7, for him.
"Why don't I get a kiss?" father Koulianos asked.
