Battle of Waterloo

The brackets for pool competition have been released for the Battle of Waterloo, which will take place Friday and Saturday at Young Arena. Wrestling begins at 9 a.m. for the first session with the finals of two dual brackets at 1 p.m. The final two brackets of pool competition begins at 4 p.m. with the finals scheduled for 8 p.m.

The elite dual tournament features 32 Iowa prep teams from all three classes.

Teams will be grouped into round-robin brackets Saturday based on their finish in Friday's pool competition. Below are the first-round matches and schedules for the respective pools Friday. The actual bracket documents are listed as well.
