Two rescued from burning Waterloo home

Two people have been rescued from a burning house in Waterloo.
The Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier reports that firetrucks were dispatched about 7:20 a.m. Tuesday to 339 Saxon St.
Two people inside the home escaped onto a porch roof and were rescued by firefighters. The two were treated for smoke inhalation but were not sent to a hospital.
The fire cause is being investigated.
