Don’t delay west-side protection too long

I was so glad to see flood protection to start soon, according to the April 25 story. It said it was to start on planning and work for both sides early in the story, then later said the (initial) work would be on the east to protect Cargill since there will be no casino. How can we expect investors to invest on the west side and bring us back when the city offers protection one day and takes it away the next day?
I hope the west side will get going again but I see that east-side businesses and downtown are held in higher regard in order of importance.
Sorry Kingston Village, you've been pushed back, you are not in the Preferred Protection Plan any longer, it seems.
