Patricia "Patti" Kay Skiye, 47, of Cedar Rapids, formerly of Center Point, died Sunday, Dec. 20, 2015, at her home. Family will greet friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 29, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids. Private family burial at Center Point Cemetery, Center Point.

Survivors include her children, Taylar Kay Skiye and Logan Duane Skiye; former spouse, Larry Skiye; sister, Kathy Droll; niece, Amanda Warnock; nephew, Justin Kacena; and many other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and father-in-law, Duane Skiye.

Patti was born on Aug. 25, 1968, in Iowa City, Iowa, the daughter of Melvin Green and Nancy (Pearson) Gaule. She graduated from Iowa City West High School in 1986. On Sept. 23, 1989, she married Larry Skiye. They divorced in August 2014. Patti started as a bank teller and eventually worked to be a bank manager, working at Hills Bank as a loan officer and also at Farmers State Bank as a branch manager. She loved spending time with her children. Patti was an avid diver in high school, enjoyed scrapbooking and making jewelry. She was very creative and loved interior decorating. Patti was a very sweet person and will be greatly missed by many.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
