Betty Jean Vogt, 85, of Robins, passed away Aug. 6, 2015, surrounded by family at her home. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 11, at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories, Cedar Rapids. Visitation will be Monday, Aug. 10, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home in Cedar Rapids. Burial will be at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Betty was born March 29, 1930, in rural Radcliffe, Iowa, to Clarence and Clara (Amdall) Pearson. She was united in marriage to LeRoy Vogt on Jan. 22, 1950. He passed away in 1995.
She is survived by her children, Steven Vogt, Gary Vogt and Sue Vogt, all of Cedar Rapids; grandson, Gregory of Robins; and sister, Evelyn Thompson of Cedar Rapids.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, LeRoy; her parents; and four siblings, Arlotte, Leslie, Leah and Carrol.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
