Greene, Ruth E.
Ruth E. Greene, 93, of Marion, died Thursday, Nov. 7, 2013, at Northbrook Manor Care Center in Cedar Rapids. A private graveside service will be at a later date in Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery, Cedar Rapids. There will be no visitation.
Ruth was born April 12, 1920, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to Frances Pearson Heck. On July 3, 1939, she married Russell H. Greene, who died in June 2007.
She is survived by her daughter, Karen (Ron) Kruse of Marion; granddaughter, Lisa Rudish of Des Moines; grandson, Jeffrey (Carmella) Davis of Gordonsville, Va.; three great-grandchildren, Jessica and Cassandra Davis and Danielle Epp; and many nieces and nephews.
Ruth was preceded in death by her mother; her husband; and her son, Lawrence.
The family would like to thank Northbrook and Unity Point Hospice for their kind care of Ruth.
