Sarajane "Sara" M. Fenoglio, 71, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Monday, July 28, 2014, at Mercy
Medical Center, after a short illness. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 30, at Cedar Memorial Park
Funeral Home. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. Burial will be held
at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Sarajane "Sara" Margaret Fenoglio was born March 12, 1943, to Selmer and Sylvia Hammer in Veblen, S.D. She was united in marriage to Emil "Jim" Fenoglio on June 23, 1973, in Cedar Rapids. Sara enjoyed camping and made many friends at Shady Hills and Hidden Lake campgrounds. She enjoyed working on crafts and craft shows. Sara worked for the Cedar Rapids School District for 15 years and enjoyed the kids. She was a member of the Women's Legion Auxiliary and Kenwood Park UMC. Sara loved spending time with her children and grand-children.
She is survived by her husband, Jim; children, Twila Duling of Cookeville, Tenn., Lila (Jim) Takes
of Austelle, Ga., Cary (Lisa) Berg of Clear Water, Fla., Barry (Brenda) Berg of Cedar
Rapids, Mary King of San Jose, Calif., Jason (Jennifer) Fenoglio of Cedar Rapids and Jamie (Angela) Fenoglio of Marion; sister, Sonja (Red) Fostvedt of Olivia, Minn.; brother-in-law, Louis Pearson of Marion; 13 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Alyce Reiff and Della Pearson; and infant daughter, Crystal Berg.
