Cedar Falls police looking for bank robbery suspect

CEDAR FALLS -- A Community National Bank branch in Cedar Falls was robbed Tuesday morning, and police are still searching for the man who did it.
About 9:30 a.m., the bank in the 300 block of W. First Street reported a robbery in progress, the Cedar Falls Police Department reported. Bank employees told police they were robbed by a lone suspect who left the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
The suspect was described as a white man between 20 and 30 years old, 5 feet 8 inches to 6 feet tall with a medium build. He was wearing a stadium jacket with a hood, a dark colored stocking hat, jeans, a muffler or covering across the lower part of his face and sunglasses.
