1. Miami (Ohio) beat Massachusetts, 42-41, to end its nation-long 21-game losing streak. Miami rallied from a 41-14 deficit.
2. Massachusetts. It has lost 12 straight games.
3. Mississippi ended a 10-game losing streak to Alabama.
4. Purdue ended a 9-game Big Ten losing streak.
5. Nebraska had won its last 10 games decided by a touchdown or less until its 27-22 loss at Michigan State.
6. Michigan is 0-2 in the Big Ten for the first time since 1967.
