Jeffrey A. Shaw, 57, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Monday, Nov. 14, 2016.
Private family services will take place.
Jeffrey was born April 19, 1959, in Iowa City to James and Sally (Soukup) Shaw. He was united in marriage to Debra Snitker on May 2, 1981, in Solon. To this union, two children were born.
Jeffrey enjoyed playing golf, coaching youth football and motorcycle trips. He loved spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Deb; children, Jake (Rahni) Shaw and Chelsey Shaw (fiancee, David Heard), both of Cedar Rapids; two grandchildren, Gabriel and Isabelle; sister, Kristin (Jerry) McAtee of Solon; in-laws, Charles and Sharon Snitker of Solon; sister-in-law, Kay Shaw of Minnesota; brother-in-law, Scott (Linda McHugh) Snitker of California; sister-in-law, Patricia (Joseph) Henry of Colorado; brother-in-law, Gregg (Michelle Roddy) Snitker of Cedar Rapids; five nieces, Sami, Lillee, Claire, Sofie and Clare; four nephews, Grant, Cole, James and Nate; as well as the beloved family dog, Sophie.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Dan and Jamie.
A memorial in Jeffrey's name has been established.
