Waukee still an example of good sportsmanship

On Nov. 29, the Waukee boys basketball team played Linn-Mar at Marion. Linn-Mar had more points at the end of the game but Waukee won the sportsmanship score, which is far more important! Their fans were well behaved and mature. And their players helped Linn-Mar players up off the floor more than once. Many Linn-Mar students shouted unsportsmanlike chants the whole game.
I know, everybody is doing it. We're living in a time when wrong is right and bad is good. No one says anything for fear of getting taken to court. Meanwhile, the quality of life is going to hell in a handbasket.
