One of the things I can remember doing for as long as I can remember is making donuts with my Mom. It was like a weekend ritual. Mom would always buy the 4 pack of biscuits, the white and chocolate frosting and a sprinkles, lots and lots of sprinkles.
Now that I am a mom myself I am able to continue this with my children. My kids love making donuts. Dylan and Logan love to frost the donuts and apply sprinkles. So I wanted to share our Saturday morning with you!
1 package of biscuits. As you can see I have used a top from the sprinkles to punch holes in the biscuits to make the donut holes. Also you can use some kitchen sissors and cut the biscuts into 4 pieces and it basically makes 4 donut holes.
Dylan and Logan are always my little helpers!
On the stove.....
You will need a small pan to fry the biscuts in. I use Crisco shortening and cook over a low heat.
Again over a low heat you will cook the biscuts until golden brown on each side.
When you are all done cooking all the biscuits/donuts you will have a plate that looks like this!
Then you can use frosting and sprinkles and enjoy! Remember to make memories!!
