Lois Clarene Jacobs, 80, of Cedar Rapids, died Friday, Dec. 30, 2016, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy, Hiawatha. As per Lois' wishes, private family services will be held. Brosh Chapel and The Avacentre in Cedar Rapids is handling Lois' arrangements.
Lois was born July 28, 1936, in rural Worth County, Iowa, near Kensett, the daughter of Cleo "Buster" and Irene (Williams) Wilson. She was united in marriage to Jack Paul Jacobs on Oct. 5, 1968, in Fairfield. Lois was a loving housewife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed going to craft shows, shopping, listening to Jim McDonough music, and most of all, spending time with her family.
Lois is survived by her husband of over 48 years, Jack; children, Dixie (Wayne) Davis of Fayette, James (Mandy) Eastwood of Vinton, and Victor (Kelly) Jacobs and Julie (Todd) Stephen, both of Cedar Rapids; nine grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and her sister, Cleo Sayre of Hiawatha.
Lois was preceded in death by her parents.
