Celebrating 50 Years Together

Celebrating 50 Years Together

Timothy G. and Beverly I. (Van Baalen) Spain celebrated 50 years together on Saturday,

Aug. 22. After marrying in Newton, IA they lived in Kirksville, MO before returning to Iowa, eventually living in Cedar Rapids. They raised a son, Timothy J. The couple also have a daughter, Megan M. Tim retired from United Fire Group in Cedar Rapids while Bev retired as a CPA. They are both avid readers and enjoy traveling and playing cards. The couple will celebrate with a card shower and a small family dinner, hosted by their daughter, Megan.
