Hawk Auction Item No. 49 -- 1984 Freedom Bowl media guide

The cover includes Owen Gill, Tom Nichol, Chuck Long and Larry Station.

The inside has stories, mostly from the Register (the Big Peach dominated those days), including one on Long that was written by Ken Fuson, one of the best writers of my era in Iowa newspapers (maybe the best).

Cool item. What did the Freedom Bowl turn into? I don't remember.
