Tickets for Farm to Street Dinner on sale Saturday

IOWA CITY - Tickets go on sale Saturday for the second annual Farm to Street Dinner hosted by the city of Iowa City in partnership with the Downtown District and Johnson County.
The dinner takes place Aug. 17 in the middle of North Linn Street in Iowa City. The event supports the local food economy, while bringing the community together to share a six-course meal using locally sourced ingredients prepared by Iowa City chefs.
Funds raised this year support the Iowa Valley Global Food Project.
Tickets are limited to 200 and can be purchased for $75 each at littlevillagetickets.com/farm-to-street-dinner. Sales begin at 12 a.m., and organizers believe tickets will be sold out by the end of the day Saturday.
