Oujiri, Joseph Michael
Joseph Michael Oujiri, 74, died Tuesday, May 24, 2011, at Living Center West in Cedar Rapids. Per Joe's wishes, there will not be a formal visitation or funeral. Private family burial will be at St. John's Cemetery in Cedar Rapids. Arrangements by Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Marion.
Survivors include a sister-in-law, Nancy Oujiri; and many nieces and nephews, including Mike Henry and family.
Joseph was born Sept. 3, 1936, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Joseph W. and Mildred (Stribling) Oujiri. He worked at Quaker Oats in Cedar Rapids for many years. Joe enjoyed hunting, fishing, and baseball. Joe was a talker and loved a good conversation and story.
He will truly be missed.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Joe's memory may be directed to a charity of the donor's choice.
