Business Notes: Promotions, new hires, seminars

New Employees

Adria Robertson (see photo) joined U.S. Bank as manager of the bank's Underwood branch. She had been office manager for State Farm Insurance and Financial Services.

Media technology company Syncbak recently hired two senior engineers. Erik Valberg (see photo) joined the company from APAC Customer Services and Ken Franken (see photo) was formerly with Broadcast Interactive Media.

Diane Lund (see photo) joined the staff of Entrepreneurial Services Group as chief financial officer/controller on-call.

Promotions

Collins Community Credit Union announced the appointment of Duane Dee (see photo) as branch manager of its new branch at 5761 C St. SW, Cedar Rapids, scheduled to open in June. Dee is currently assistant branch manager at its North Liberty location.

Vicki Brems (see photo) was promoted to client solutions manager. Brems most recently was client solutions coordinator.

Board Members

LaNisha Cassell (see photo), executive director for the Marion School Foundation and Alumni Association, has become a member of the Aging Services Inc. board of directors.

Seminars

“Tax Deductions for Small Business” will be held from
