Dorothy N. Elliott, 90, died Sunday, June 14, 2015, at Colonial Manor. Services: 10 a.m. Friday, June 19, Norway United Methodist Church with Pastor Rosemarie Calderon-Kahn officiating. Private family burial. Visitation: 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday at the church.
Dorothy was born Oct. 23, 1924, in Miller, Mo., to August and Ruth Scroggins Laird. On Jan. 23, 1943, she married Donald Elliott in Joplin, Mo.
Survivors include her husband; son, Max (Julie) Elliott; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and brother, Donald (Judy) Laird.
Preceding her in death were her parents; brother Wayne Laird; and sister, Thelma Gilliam.
