Thomas K. Davis, 87, passed away May 18, 2016, at his home.
After a private family service, a visitation will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, May 23, at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife, Sonya; son, Michael Davis of Princeton, N.J.; sister, Eltin Babicky of Baltimore; stepdaughters, Laura (Steve) Shim of Easley, S.C., and Lisa Bachman of Cedar Rapids; three grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Delores; and son, Nick.
Tom was born Jan. 10, 1929, in Piedmont, W.Va., to George and Madeline Davis. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean conflict. He married Delores Lauby on May 3, 1952. She passed away in 1990. On April 11, 1992, he married Sonya Paxson.
Tom was plant personnel manager for the graphic systems division of Rockwell International Corporation from 1980 until his retirement in 1993.
His passions were golf, the Hawkeyes, and most of all, his family.
Memorial donations in Tom's name may be directed to the charity of the donor's choice.
